150 Children of Ilegals to Sue Obama over Deportation

150 children, from Miami are suing the Obama administration over the deportation of their parents.

The children, all US citizens, argue that their constitutional rights are in violation because they too may have to leave, should their parents be unable to return.

The group, which originally brought the case against the Bush administration, resubmitted the lawsuit in January. It is the contention of the children and Nora Sandigo, head of the non-profit American Fraternity who filed the suit, that the parents entered the US prior to the 1996 immigration changes, which made it difficult to become residents. Hence, they argue, they should not have been affected. The group gathered on Wednesday to discuss the case.

Wow, I'm at loss for words. This is an asinine a case as I've ever heard. First of all, who cares when the parents entered US soil? What is their status?? Obviously illegal. As such the rules of the land should apply. We need consistency in enforcing and applying the laws, in spite of extenuating circumstances. Which leads me to my next point. If the parents are being deported, then the kids should follow, willingly, because they are their caregivers. Otherwise, families will become broken as they live separate lives in two different countries. That is the only plausible solution, and its costs us less tax dollars too. Anyone else in favor???
